Beer Review #4

Beer #12: Sharp's Doom Bar

Served: Same as always.

Appearance: Chocolate brown

Smell: Malty? I was very congested yesterday.

Taste: Your typical British bitter. Good balance of malt & hops, but at only 4% ABV, lacks the strong flavors of American craft beers. Kills Bud Light though.

Cost: £3.80 per pint. However, this particular beer came with a side of history, as it was served in a pub where Jack the Ripper's first victim had her last drink... and was found three days later with 29 stab wounds... and was above the apartment of one of the prime suspects in the murders.

Overall: 5.5/10, knocked down to 4/10. This is also the favorite beer of British PM David Cameron, and Prince Charles has been known to knock back a pint.
